OFA radiologists cannot issue an OFA excellent if the pelvis and femurs are not perfectly straight and the patellas are not centered. We take our films in most patients (99%) without any sedation or anesthesia. We use patience and more patience to position the dog for the radiographs. What does this mean to you? No anesthetic risk of any kind, reduced cost and no downtime for coat loss due to anesthetics. We succeed when your dog gets the best rating possible. We are willing to take as many films as necessary to accomplish this! We also have digital radiography which allows us to email x-rays to OFA for much faster results!
